All About Nathan

Nathan’s love of racing began at a very early age. From as early as two years old, he would sit on his dads’ lap and help drive the cars in and out of the shop that his grandpa owned. If it had wheels and had the ability to go fast, Nathan was fascinated with it.

At the age of six, Nathan began racing Mini Dwarf cars at Barona Speedway in Lakeside, California. At the end of the season, he was a top five driver and earned himself Rookie of the Year.

During the off season in 2007, Nathan had the opportunity to race in the Monster Jam pre-show at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California. It was quite an experience for him. He just couldn’t believe he was attending a driver’s meeting with Gravedigger, as well as racing in the same stadium with him. Nathan raced hard and he earned his first Main Event win. Once the season began Nathan had more confidence as a driver, and worked really hard all year to improve his driving skills. He finished the season with 5 Main Event wins.

As the 2008 season opened up, Nathan’s hard work didn’t go unnoticed. Nathan became a regular in the winner’s circle. Followed by each Main Event win, the track announcer would always like to get a few words from the driver. Nathan will always give you a detailed report on the track conditions, his strategy, and he would thank each and every one of his sponsors, the United States Military, and last but not least, the fans.

The 2009 season proved to be a challenging one for Nathan. As he continued to drive his Mini Dwarf, Nathan began driving a Junior Sprint Car as well. Every race, Nathan would drive two classes back to back with no break in between. This routine challenged Nathan’s stamina, physical strength, and his focus both on and off the track. With 10 Main Event wins, Nathan proved he has what it takes to win the race.

Nathan has decided to retire out of his Mini Dwarf and focus on his future driving career. With Late Models, Modifieds and NASCAR being Nathan’s ultimate goal, he will be building a Pure Stock this season with the help of his dad and a few good friends. Nathan hopes to have it ready by the beginning of the 2011 season. He will practice in the car for a full season before racing competitively. Nathan is looking forward to the challenge of a new car, new class and the level of competition.
